We are pleased to report that after 14 months in development, a NEW AND IMPROVED version of the RADIO RANGE add-on is complete and available online.

The improvements are many, but among the most exciting are that the Radio Range Network has been expanded to cover the entire North American Continent as well as Hawaii, two North Atlantic stations, and several stations in the China/Burma/India theater of operations of WW2.  Also included in the download are complete North American Airways Charts, Airways Data Tables defining every Canadian and US Civil Airway, Instrument Approach Procedures for over 220 airports, complete user manuals, three new aircraft and much more.

This download is currently available only on AVSIM.com (search the file library for RR40.zip), but should shortly be available on FlightSim.com and Simviation.com pending resolution of technical difficulties.  An announcement will be made at that time.

It should also be noted that this IS NOT AN UPGRADE of previous versions, but rather a COMPLETELY NEW SYSTEM.  Versions 3 and 3.1 should be removed from your system with the included uninstaller before attempting to install Version 4 on your system.

We are confident that you'll enjoy many hours of listening to dits and dahs while navigating the skies and urge you to try out this novel and fascinating form of radio navigation.

For the entire Radio Range Team,

Allan Greene
Project Coordinator
