Hayden is an untowered airport into Steamboat. They accomodate quite a bit of airline flights to serve the Steamboat Ski area. A bit unusual for passenger flights to land at uncontrolled terminals, so we wanted to explore how well that can be done. Turns out Denver Center VATSIM does it pretty much like the real world ATC does it into Hayden. There is a major disconnect in VATSIM weather predicions and what the sim shows. We expected a lot worse weather in Hayden.
